Solution to Error: Cant install a program

Cant install a program

Every time i go to install a program the install starts then stops suddenly and i get this error.

I have tried everything from right click run as admin, changing my dep settings, bcdedit.exe /set current nx AlwaysOff, nothing is working.
i have no viruses and my pc is updated.

im running vista home premium 64 bit

Please provide few details to ascertain the nature of the issue, so that we can assist you better.
 
-       May I know the name of the program you are trying to install?
-       Make sure the program compitable with Vista 64 Bit?
-       Do you have the disk to install the program or is it downloaded from Internet?
-       Have you tried to redownload the program and tried to install?
-       Are you able to install the same program on a different computer?
      -   Do you receive the error while install one particular program or all the progrms? 

Also you may try to redownload the program from the manufacturer website and save it in a different location, later try to install and verify if you are able to install it.

Run CHKDSK

• Go to the Start button.
• In the Search box, type "cmd" (without quotes) and press Enter.
• At the command prompt, type "chkdsk /r /f" (without quotes) and press Enter.
• Restart your computer.
