C:\Windows\explorer.exe Open file error!

When trying to connect to a Client on a network the above error appears.  I am able to access the internet through the network and join a CSS and warcraft server with other PCs in the network.  seems that only the file sharing doesn't work can anyone please
help

What is the Operating System installed on your computer (Windows 7 Home Premium or Professional)?
What network are you talking about (home network or office network)?
 
As a workaround you may try to change the security firewall settings to different levels and see if that helps.

If you failed to fix it, another option is to call Microsoft and walk through the process with a technician. To do this, dial "1-800-936-5700". Explain the error that you received and the steps in the update process during which it was displayed. The technician will be able to walk through the steps from getting a new product key to finishing the installation.
