After setting up video and music on Windows Movie Maker 2.6 screen goes black

On the Windows Movie Maker 2.6, i have my video and the audio set up and perfect.
But when the video and music to it is done, the play screen goes black and theres no video and audio on.
PLEAAASEEE HELPP!!!!!!! this is a homeschool project that was just
assigned to me yesterday.
it's due tomorrow.

c) What is the length of the movie?
d) What is the original file format of the movie (.avi etc)?
