Automatic system restore points not being created
I have just started using Windows 7 home premium and have realized that the daily automatic system restore points are not being created. I have gone into the task scheduler but have no idea how to set it up.

You can try the following steps and check
Method 1: Check whether the Volume Shadow copy services is started.
To do this:
1.
Go to start, type services.msc in start search box and press enter.
2.
Now, check Volume shadow copy is running.
Method 2: Perform a sfc scan.
The System File Checker tool scans system files and replaces incorrect versions of the system files by using the correct versions.
To run the System File Checker tool, follow these steps:
1.Click Start, and then type cmd in the Start Search box.
2.Right-click cmd in the Programs list, and then click Run as administrator.
3.At the command prompt, the following line, and then press ENTER:
sfc /scannow
When the scan is complete, test to see whether the issue that you are experiencing is resolved.

Note: It is recommended that you back up your files and folders before attempting this step:
- Move the mouse cursor over to the upper right side of the screen.
- A menu will pop up on the left. Click on the "Settings" feature on the menu.
- On the Settings window, click on the "Change PC settings."
- Now, left click on the "Update and recovery" feature.
- For the next step, left click on the "Recovery" feature.
- There is an option here saying "Refresh your PC without affecting your files." There, left click on the "Get started" button.
