When I try to launch Cubase SL 1.0.6 I keep getting the following error message which then tells me to close the program:

Can anyone help? I've updated all my drivers, I'm waiting for a response from the Cubase manufacturers  and I'm not sure what to do next.

1.       Were there any changes made to the computer prior to the issue?
 
I would suggest you to set your computer in Clean Boot state and check if the same issue occurs.
 
By setting your system in clean boot state helps in identifying if any third party applications or startup items are causing the issue.
