I have a excel file used by various users.
I want this file to be mailed to me every month.
Can i have a prompt or a alert built in which will be activated on the 30th-31st-1st-2nd or 3rd of every month.
When the user saves the file on any of these dates, excel should prompt 'Do you want to email the monthly report to Nikhil?'.
If the user clicks 'Yes', the mail should be sent (using microsoft outlook).
If no, the file is saved.
Once the user selects the
'yes' options during any of these days, the prompt should not come in the remaining days.
(i.e.
if user accepts the prompt on 1st and sends the file, the prompt should not appear on 2nd & 3rd).
Please note i have a workbook level macro that automatically hides all sheets except the first sheet when the user saves the file

Right, i forgot to create the name "oName".
Please, execute the sub (only once) :
Sub test()
ThisWorkbook.Names.Add "oName", RefersTo:=0
End Sub
There will be no conflict between the two subs.
The name "oName" is set to 1 when the mail is sent.
The mail is sent only if "oName" = 0.
oName is reset to 0 if it is equal to 1 and day >3 and day < 30.
So if the mail is sent on 30th, oName will be set to 1, preventing another message to display.
Oname will be reset on 4th.
