why is my aero gone after restarting,and when i updated my graphics card ,,aero effects comes back and when i restarted or shuts down,it became windows basic again and again,,then when i took the performance test for my computer it says"could not measure
video playback performance".......
i don`t know if i installed something in my computer that is causing problems to my aero effects....
please help...:(((

Try rolling back the graphics driver you recently.
This sounds like a case of 'if it wasn't broke, don't bother try fixing it' :)
Click Start, type: devmgmt.msc
Hit Enter on your keyboard
Expand Display Adapters
Right click your Display Adapter (video card name)
Click Properties
Go to the Driver tab
Click Rollback
Click Apply and OK
Restart your system.

Hit Enter on your keyboard
Under Appearance and Personalization, click 'Display Aero Desktop Effects'
Wait while the wizard attempts to fix the problem.

Run CHKDSK

• Go to the Start button.
• In the Search box, type "cmd" (without quotes) and press Enter.
• At the command prompt, type "chkdsk /r /f" (without quotes) and press Enter.
• Restart your computer.
